The Death Cat is reported to be able to predict when patients at the nursing home where it lives are nearing death. Most definately a creepy kitty that I would not like to have curl up on my bed.

Ghostly Image - The Face in The Courthouse Window

The way I've always heard this story was that Henry Wells was being held in the top of the Pickens county courthouse. A mob gathered outside demanding his blood. When he looked out the window at the mob lightning struck and the image of his face appeared in the glass of the window. It was unclear in the tellings I heard if the lightning killed him or if he was killed later on. One thing is certain, there is something strange about the glass of that window pane.

To believe that human beings are the smartest creatures on the planet is a vain assumption. It could possibly be that the smarter beings have no desire to be discovered and are very effective at covering up their existance. It might also be possible that these smarter beings are hiding in plain site.

This crow lets us glimpse the intelligence they are capable of. If they can fashion hooks can lockpicks be far behind? Who knows what ambitions lurk in the hearts of these birds?
